Those who know István Grencsó, the unique, attempting figure of Hungarian jazz, will be surprised now on this concert. Grencsó has not played beat, unless its progressive version, since he was 20. Last year the world premier of this formation happened at the MEDIAWAVE Art Camp and then in Pécs where the audience, listening to this new wave music and seeing Grencsó in a blue cloack, which appearance rather reminded the people to a works manager from the socialist period, were eagerly demanded for a CD…
The members of the band are from Grencsó’s new and young rhythm section but here each of them plays other instruments than their original.
