Daughters of Snow tells the story of two sisters, Anniina and Emilia who are enjoying a Scandinavian winter day. As the girls play with an ice sled their shared crush, attraction to the same man, Olavi opens the door for jealousy to reign and the happy, playful winter day turns into a tragedy as Anniina who feels betrayed takes over to control the speed of the sled. She starts to see the past events, feel the emotions again and this leads to a climax no one wished for.

Harri J. RANTALA

Harri J. Rantala has directed short films like “Mutalan raitilla - The Road of Mutala” and “The Sacrifice”, the music videos “Under Surveillance” for Destination X and "Sedena con la mia donna nel parco del parlamento" for M. A. Numminen.

He has also worked in many feature film and television productions like Claes Olsson’s “Colorado Avenue”, Aku Louhimies "She-Wolf" and JP Siili´s "Ganes".
At the moment Rantala studies cultural production in the Humak University of Applied Sciences in Kauniainen. Rantala is a man proud of his roots in the rural area of Southern Ostrobothnia, Finland.
